£3.79 RRP

The Ergo Tick Tool provides a simple way to remove ticks from your pet. Designed to help remove the whole tick, it offers a practical addition to your pet care and grooming range.
  • Safe and simple tool for removing ticks from your pet
  • Designed to help remove the whole tick without squeezing or crushing it
  • Helps reduce the risk of leaving parts of the tick attached to the skin
  • Easy-to-use design for a more hygienic method of tick removal

Locate the tick by carefully lifting the fur. Place the tick tool against your pet’s skin and gently slide or pull the tool back slowly until the tick is trapped at the small end of the tool. Continue pulling slowly and steadily until the tick detaches from the skin, then lift it away.

Avoid squeezing or crushing the tick during removal. After removing the tick, check the area and clean it appropriately. If you are unable to remove the whole tick or the area becomes irritated, seek advice from a veterinary professional.

For dogs that are new to grooming, introduce the tool slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed and, where possible, after exercise. Keep sessions brief initially and gradually increase their length as your dog becomes comfortable with grooming. Offer plenty of reassurance throughout the session and pause or end grooming if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress.

Tick Tool measures : 9 × 2cm

For pet use only. Take care when using the tool and avoid applying excessive pressure to your pet’s skin. Check the tool regularly for signs of damage and discontinue use if damaged. If you are unsure how to safely remove a tick, seek advice from a veterinary professional.
