Ancol's Promise to the Environment

Ancol is on a mission to make great pet products that don't cost the earth. We are committed to reducing the impact of our buisness on the environment. How? It's simple, by making small concious changes across the buisness.

In House

- At Ancol we recycle 100% of polythene, cardboard and wooden pallet waste.

- Our solar panels make us 85% self sufficient for electricity and allow us to save 17.5 tonnes of CO2 every year.

- We have invested in ultra-low and hybrid vehicles for our vehicle fleet.

Products

Where possible, Ancol toys are made from recycled materials and filled with recycled stuffing. We have dedicated entire ranges to reducing plastic waste, with products made from recycled plastic bottles that would otherwise end up in landfill, plastic free poop bags, and toys made from re-used garments.

Packaging

- We have made a huge effort to remove plastic from our packaging where possible across all ranges.

- We are now using carbon neutral paper stock on our collar and lead tags, saving critically threatened tropical forests.

- We have balanced through World Land Trust the equivalent of 121kg of carbon dioxide, this support will enable World Land Trust to protect 23m2 of critically threatened tropical forest. (Issued on 24/04/2023)
