Although we are not required by law to publish this statement, we wish to confirm that we are committed to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the abolition of modern slavery and human trafficking. As an equal-opportunities employer, Ancol is committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for its staff.

Ancol ensure that all current and prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK and to safeguard employees from any abuse or coercion once in our employment.

Our supply chain

Our supply chain is limited and we procure goods from a restricted range of UK and overseas suppliers predominantly from China, Taiwan and India. We have an excellent long term relationship with all of our overseas suppliers and personally visit most of them every year.

Our suppliers are mostly audited by Sedex (or equivalent) and those who have not been audited have been personally visited by one or more of the company Directors to ascertain the standard of employment and that in principle, the supplier is committed to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and satisfies us that every opportunity has been given to ensure the safety and welfare of all the employees of those companies.
