Before using the Stripping Comb, ensure your dog's coat is free from knots and mats. Gently brush through the coat in the direction of hair growth, allowing the blade to remove straggly and unwanted hair. Start with gentle strokes and work gradually, taking care not to press the blade against the skin. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of discomfort.

For dogs that are new to grooming, introduce the brush slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed and, where possible, after exercise. Keep sessions brief initially and gradually increase their length as your dog becomes comfortable with grooming. Offer plenty of reassurance throughout the session and pause or end grooming if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress.

Replacing the Blade:

The Stripping Comb features a lockable cover for added safety. To replace the blade, push the cover to the right to unlock it, then carefully lift it away from the blade. Take care when handling the exposed blade and follow the product's fitting instructions when installing a replacement.

Stripping Comb measures : 15.5cm

Suitable for wiry, long, curly and silky coats.

This product contains a sharp blade. Handle with care and keep the blade away from your dog's skin, eyes, ears and other sensitive areas. Do not use on irritated or damaged skin, or force the comb through tangles and mats. Severe mats close to the skin should be dealt with by a professional groomer or veterinary professional. Keep your dog calm throughout grooming and stop if they show signs of stress or discomfort. Always lock the blade cover in place when not in use, and keep the tool out of reach of children and pets.

Care and Cleaning:

Carefully remove trapped hair after use, keeping fingers away from the blade. Wipe the comb clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly before storing. Check the blade regularly for wear or damage and replace it when necessary. Store with the blade cover locked securely in place in a clean, dry location.
