The Ergo Wooden Slicker Brush is a versatile grooming tool suitable for short, long, wiry and curly coats. Its thin, flexible stainless-steel pins gently ease out tangles while reaching through the coat to remove loose and dead hair. Designed to groom both the undercoat and top coat, it is an effective tool for everyday grooming and moulting.
  • Suitable for short, long, wiry and curly coats
  • Features fine, flexible stainless steel pins designed to help gently ease out tangles and knots
  • Pins reach into the coat to help remove loose and dead hair from both the topcoat and undercoat
  • Helps maintain a smooth, glossy and well-groomed coat
  • Wooden handle provides a comfortable grip during grooming
  • Regular grooming offers a great opportunity to bond with your pet while supporting their coat care

Gently brush through the coat in the direction of hair growth, using short, controlled strokes. Work in small sections to help remove loose fur and ease out minor tangles. Avoid pressing the pins into the skin or repeatedly brushing the same area. Never force the brush through stubborn knots or mats. Pause or end the session if your pet becomes uncomfortable.

For dogs that are new to grooming, introduce the brush slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed and, where possible, after exercise. Keep sessions brief initially and gradually increase their length as your dog becomes comfortable with grooming. Offer plenty of reassurance throughout the session and pause or end grooming if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress.

Available in three sizes:

  • Small pin pad measures : 14.5cm
  • Medium pin pad measures : 20cm
  • Large pin pad measures : 22cm

Suitable for short, long, wiry and curly coats.

Use gently and avoid excessive pressure on the skin. Do not brush over irritated or damaged skin. Check the pins and handle regularly for signs of wear or damage, and discontinue use if damaged. Keep out of reach of children and pets when not in use.

Care and Cleaning:

Remove trapped fur from the pins after each use. Wipe the brush clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth, taking care not to soak the wooden handle. Allow it to dry fully before storing in a clean, dry place.
